CEN and ISO Advance Nanotechnology Standards Updates

Under CEN/TC 352 Nanotechnologies the following documents have been published: 

  1. CEN/CENELEC report from 2025 published (18.06.2026). The report reviews the activities achieved during the past year and showcases advances in standardization for emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, cyber resilience and quantum technologies, and the implementation of the CEN and CENELEC Strategy 2030. ANNUAL REPORT 2025. 

  1. The CEN and CENELEC Presidential Committee Annual Plenary Meetings, held in early June 2026, brought together the SME Working Group and the Societal Stakeholders Group to discuss initiatives aimed at strengthening inclusiveness within the European Standardization System. Key discussions focused on stakeholder engagement, the revision of Regulation (EU) No 1025/2012, the future of the European Standardization System, and the ongoing development of CEN-CENELEC Guide 25, reinforcing collaboration between industry, SMEs and societal stakeholders. Canada Releases Nanomaterial Risk Assessment Framework Under CEPA
