NIA joined stakeholders from industry, academia, and policymaking at the Future of Advanced Materials in Europe (FAME) workshop, hosted by the Universidade de Aveiro and supported by ANI.
Held under the Technology Council for Advanced Materials Subgroup on Uptake and Deployment, discussions focused on the upcoming Advanced Materials Act (2026), industrial uptake, and strengthening Europe’s competitiveness.
NIA’s Interim Director General, Sean Kelly, chaired the Subgroup and presented recommendations, with active participation from INL - International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory, BNN - BioNanoNet, the University of Birmingham, and Zeon Chemicals.
