NIA Launches Special Purpose Committee on Carbon Nanotubes

The NIA Board has approved the establishment of a new Special Purpose Committee dedicated to Carbon Nanotubes (CNTs). While CNTs offer tremendous potential across diverse sectors and applications, certain challenges persist, including their controversial inclusion on the CHEMSEC SIN List.
Committee Mission
This specialized committee will develop a comprehensive NIA position on CNTs for engagement with external stakeholders, including potential end users and regulatory bodies. Beyond addressing regulatory concerns, the committee will champion broader understanding of CNTs' positive applications across various industries.
