Summary

  • New NIA member Infinite d.o.o. is cutting long-term health safety assessments from months to under a week, using automated in vitro to in silico technology that could transform how advanced materials are screened before they reach market.

NIA is excited to welcome Infinite d.o.o. as our newest member! A cutting-edge tech-bio spin-out from the Jožef Stefan Institute, Infinite is redefining long-term health safety assessments with its pioneering in vitro monitoring and automated in-vitro-to-in-silico translation technologies.

Infinite’s In Finite technology sets a new industry standard, delivering rapid and precise health safety evaluations in under a week—far faster than traditional methods like animal models and organ-on-chip platforms. This breakthrough empowers advanced material developers to pre-screen materials efficiently, reducing costs and delays while ensuring safety from the outset.

“We are delighted to join NIA and contribute to its mission of driving innovation, safety, and sustainability in nanotechnology,” said Janez Štrancar, CEO of Infinite d.o.o. “By collaborating with NIA and its members, we look forward to shaping safer and more sustainable nanotechnologies for R&D, workplaces, and society at large.”
